I am an experienced and dedicated professional with many years of event planning experience. The Event Lady is unique in that I give the clients my undivided attention. I listen to their needs and work with them to create the event of their dreams. The clients' wishes become my commands. The Event Lady services include balloon creations, event planning, event design, event management, wedding planning, budget planning, answers to etiquette questions, consultations, as well as full-service referrals to florists, hair stylists, entertainers, musicians, etc.

Shamika is a dedicated Professional and Event Planner with 12+ years experience. She is a detail-oriented professional with strengths in event creation, planning and execution. For much of her career, Shamika has lent her talents to the DMV nightlife where she was able to build a network of great vendors and venues. She is considered an expert in logistics, hiring excellent vendors, managing staff, and overseeing event execution. She has experience coordinating a variety of conferences ranging from educational to corporate events; planning and designing weddings, birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, etc. Due to her expertise and creative eye, The Event Lady is one of the best in town.
